  Our Facilities

The Edmonton Flight College is located at the Edmonton City Center Airport, in Edmonton Alberta, Canada. Now operated by the Edmonton Airport Authority, the City Center Airport became the first licensed airport in Canada on July 16, 1926 on what was then Hagmann Estate. Eventually the airport became known as Blatchford Field, Edmonton Industrial Airport, and the Edmonton Municipal Airport before taking on its current name.

The Edmonton Flight College is located at building 18, on the south west side of the airport next to the control tower. The Flight College facilities include a pilot lounge / banquet room, briefing rooms, two classrooms, a simulator room and a cafeteria.

Pilot Lounge

Located on the upper floor, the lounge looks out on to the airport and there is plenty of room for studying and flight planning. The Pilot Lounge is also available as a banquet facility for almost any type of function. Hosting a kitchenette, private bathroom, and spacious balcony, the lounge is an ideal space for small functions of up to 50 guests.
Full catering is available, but not mandatory.
Contact us today to book your function in EFC's Pilot Lounge!

Hangar

One of the benefits the Flight College has to offer is that all of our aircraft are hangared every night in our spacious hangar. Here, the club's maintenance engineers work hard to ensure each plane is 100%. Also, if you own an aircraft, the EFC Maintenance Dept can take care of you and your plane, keeping it in tip top condition.
